“This book covers everything; from introducing the disease, to di”

This book covers everything; from introducing the disease, to different disc diseases by region, standard medical treatments, alternative treatments and self-care, along with much more. The alternative treatments were really great: acupuncture, rolfing, and more. It really helped inform me on the disease, since my friend just got diagnosed with it. Great book for those suffering. I gave it to my friend he says he’s learned a lot.

“A Truffle of Information on Dementia”

Just what I was hoping to read: definitions, and prognoses, But there was more information on each type of dementia that is useful. Also all of the categories and dementia types that were included opened my eyes to what is out there. My dad had PSP but not much was known about it in the early 1980’s. Thanks for including that.

“Great information on POTS”

I have a friend who has been diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), or dysautonomia. I had absolutely no idea what this was or how I could possibly be supportive, so I went searching for more information. I came across this very detailed and informative book by Frederick Earlstein. There is great information here about what POTS is, signs and symptoms, causes and treatment for it and tips for living with POTS. I particularly appreciated the information on living with POTS and the chapter on research on resources to get additional information. A very well-written and well-organized book on an elusive disorder.

“Great Book”

In this book I learned symptoms and signs of Sinusitis, Hay Fever and Allergic Rhinitis. I also learned how to treat these diseases with medications and with natural remedies. I really like the conversational tone of the book, which made me feel that the author was talking directly to me. All ideas were very clearly explained and I could understand everything. I liked this book and can certainly recommend it.

“Take care and avoid.”

Easy to read format. Concepts expressed in simply terms with reasonable advice on precautionary measures to avoid contracting the disease. It highlights how difficult it is to confirm the disease; all information is no doubt available elsewhere but the book drew it together.

★★★★

“Four Stars”
